My name is Sonny Vermeer. I’m from the Netherlands and currently moved to Vila Nova de Gaia (Portugal)

I have a passion for traveling and discovering new places all the time.

This can be from a big populair city, to a local forest in a small town, Or a National Park with Mountains  and Waterfalls.

Whatever the destination may be, You wouldn’t see me travel without my camera.

My passion for photography occurred back from 2017.

I came back from a trip in Scotland, and was pretty

disappointed about the pictures I took with a simple point and

shoot camera in auto-mode. they didn't do justice to what the

beautiful Scottish landscapes look like in real life.

From  then on I decided to learn everything about Landscape photography. How to work with (sun) light, with clouds and fog and all different weather conditions.

and most important of all: How to have full control over the camera.

Now a few years later i traveled a lot more countries, and have

a lot more experience. But I am still learning every day and

trying to improve myself over and over again. And the list of places and countries I still want to photograph is longer than ever.

I think that's the reason it never gets boring!
